Websites for plumbers

Websites for plumbers that quote the blocked drain before you are back in the ute

Five pages built around the jobs you want more of — hot water, blocked drains, leaking taps — and your own price list behind the three things you would ask your customer on the phone.

Two builds a month, booking one month out. Two to three weeks from your photos and your price list.

Quoting is open to new builds now, and already runs on a client’s site. A plain website can take quoting later, without a rebuild.

The call you miss

Your customer has no hot water, and you are halfway through a bathroom rough-in at Henley Beach

By the time you have washed your hands and rung back, they have booked the plumber who answered. Hot water is the one job nobody waits on, and it goes to whoever puts a price in front of them first — usually for the same figure you would have given them.

  • No hot water gets a price the minute they ask, and the after-hours call-out goes on by itself when they pick tonight.
  • A blocked drain is quoted as a jetted drain, with the camera named and the digging left out until you have seen it.
  • The like-for-like hot water swap — the job you can price from the ute — is priced from the ute without you.

A site that quotes will give them a price while you are still on the job.

Off your price list, under your name, before the other plumber has rung back.

What your site asks

The questions you would ask on the phone

Two or three, in your trade’s terms, and nothing they cannot answer standing in the room with the problem.

01

What is happening?

No hot water, a tap that will not stop, water where it should not be, a drain that will not clear. Their words, not a job code.

02

Electric or gas?

It changes the price and the part on the ute, and it is the first thing you ask about a hot water unit anyway.

03

Today, or this week?

After five today adds the after-hours call-out, the same way you would add it on the phone.

A page from the Torrens Plumbing price list. The business is fictional and so are the figures; yours would be yours.

  • Dripping tap$185
  • Blocked kitchen sink$275
  • Toilet running into the pan$235
  • No hot water, electric unit$385
  • Electric hot water unit replaced, same again$2,185
  • Gas cooktop connected to the existing line$495

What a plumber’s site looks like here

Both are fictional, and each says so. The one real site quoting today belongs to a handyman, and it is written up in full on the Yatara Property Maintenance page.

Torrens Plumbing

A fictional plumber’s site quoting the way yours would: pick a job, answer two questions, read the quote, see the email. Nothing is sent or booked.

What it costs

The same two starting points as everyone

A plumber’s site is priced off our price list the same way yours will price theirs. Add only the work you need, with each price shown before you choose it, and read how the quoting works before you decide which one.

Every build hands over the same things — up to five pages around your jobs, your photos, help with your Google Business Profile, an enquiry form on your own domain — and the website page lists all of it.

A few questions, and you leave with a price for your site.

Our price list does the pricing, so the figure is fixed before we speak. The call is fifteen minutes on the jobs you want more of and when I could start.
